Simple Kinetic Typography

This is a personal project I completed. I was inspired to create some kinetic typography out of this quote from the original 1931 Frankenstein film, but video still scares me. But I was still so heavily inspired, so I came up with a kind of “in-between” solution: do just the layouts as if I was creating a kinetic typography. So this is what came out of it: this great quote from Frankenstein laid out.

Edit / Update:

I ended up creating a couple versions of a video of this quote! See them linked below! I know they’re simple, but at least I did a thing in video! Doing this has definitely helped my mind work in video format.

“Have you never wanted to do anything that was dangerous? Where should we be if nobody tried to find out what lies beyond? Have you never wanted to look beyond the clouds and the stars or to know what causes the trees to bud and what changes the darkness into light? But if you talk like that, people call you crazy. But if I could discover just one of these things―what eternity is, for example―I wouldn’t care if they did think I was crazy.”
