For the Love of All Things Scary

Ever since I can remember, I grew up with my family loving scary stuff. Halloween was always the biggest holiday of the year; we would always put up scary decorations, have a costume, a Halloween party, etc. Not only did we always love Halloween, but we would enjoy horror movies as well. We just love it! This influence has made an impression on me. I also love all things scary, including Halloween and horror movies. This love of any and all things scary also permeates into my art. A lot of my art is very surreal and scary. As an example, see my “Can You Hear Me Scream” piece below.

A lot of my art is also the “surreal” kind of scary as well. See “Screw Forest” below.

Here’s another example here in my portfolio: Fear for Your Life Playlist Cover

I’ve had this fascination with all things scary and its influence on my art for a long time. See another example of the “surreal” scary below, an old work of mine from back when I was on DeviantArt, “Hatch”:

So yes, I love horror and and scary surrealism and all things scary. And I’ve loved it essentially forever, ever since I was a child. I think I like scary stuff because I find it fascinating, and I also feel like it “toughens me up” in a way, too.
