“A photographic typology is a suite of images or related forms, shot in a consistent, repetitive manner; to be fully understood, the images must be viewed as a complete series.”

- Kristine McKenna, “Photo Visions,” Los Angeles Times, 29 Dec 1991

The goal of this photography project was to create a “typological” series of photographs, to make a photographic typology. I created a photographic series on typology with a concept of my own. I ended up choosing people’s water bottles to photograph as the subjects of my typology project, since they are very commonplace, yet there are many different variations and types of water bottles. Individuals’ water bottles can even tell a lot about the person who owns them.
