Dollar Photographs

I took these photographs as part of a little contest at a summer digital art program I attended. I framed the compositions to be visually pleasing and guide the viewer’s eye around amongst as much of the frame as possible. For the first photo, I edited it so that the ink of the dollar appeared green and so that the coloring and contrast further emphasized George Washington’s face on the dollar bill. I also made the pine needles a bit warmer toned in color to feel like a cozy nest that the dollar is nestled in and for contrast against the opposing colors of the bill.
